In 1992 IFT was confronted with difficulties in delivering equipment into the CIS/FSU because of the problems with the infrastructure, the lack of modern communication systems and absence of reliable transport partners.

IFT made the decision to overcome these difficulties and to provide the shipping community with a safe and efficient means of transport into these challenging regions. We accomplished this by opening our own offices and establishing a network of reliable transport partners within the CIS/FSU.

Our major projects to the CIS/FSU, include oilfield equipment to Kazakstan, amusement park rides to Uzbekistan, airport passenger boarding bridges to Romania, as well as, government procurements ranging from humanitarian assistance cargo, to bulk grains and cotton delivered throughout the CIS/FSU.
